Aaranya Bamboo Structures designs and builds bamboo architecture — cottages, rooms, roofing systems, interiors and outdoor structures — for clients who want something with genuine character: hospitality operators, farmhouse owners, restaurant and café owners, and homeowners looking to bring a natural material into their space.

A bamboo roof is a structural system before it is a finish. We plan the framework, pitch, layering and fixing method before any decorative work begins — this is what keeps a roof performing well after installation, not just looking good on the day it is finished.

Our roofing work includes bamboo roof structures and framework, traditional chhat detailing, and decorative roofing treatments, with custom designs developed for pitch, overhang and material where the brief calls for it.

Every project is different, but our general workflow follows six stages.

Good bamboo construction depends on decisions made long before a structure takes shape: selecting the right bamboo, treating and storing it correctly, choosing appropriate joining methods, and protecting the finished structure from moisture over time.

We plan structural design, detailing and installation with these factors in mind, and explain relevant maintenance to every client at handover. Materials on a given project may include bamboo, structural steel where required, roofing materials, fasteners, insulation and finishing materials — the exact mix depends on the design, site, structural requirements, climate and budget.
